Cortex Cloud is lightweight and compact, very ease of use

    Reviewed on May 26, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly effective for teams managing distributed systems or IoT devices and allows both beginners and advanced users to manage complex workflows without a steep learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users might also find the custom alerting and automation tools limited, compared to other leading platforms. The pricing isn’t very transparent, especially for enterprise-level use, and the billing model could benefit from more clarity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its integration with popular DevOps tools and solid documentation makes onboarding relatively smooth. I particularly appreciate the role-based access controls and the ability to monitor system health across various environments in a single dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Cortex Cloud is its seamless integration of scalable infrastructure with real-time data processing, enabling rapid and reliable application deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Cortex Cloud is that its learning curve can be steep for new users due to complex configuration and limited onboarding documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud is solving the problem of managing scalable, event-driven microservices by providing a unified platform for real-time data processing, deployment, and monitoring—benefiting me by accelerating development cycles, reducing operational overhead, and improving system reliability.

Once You’re Set Up, It’s a Game Changer

    Reviewed on May 16, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Cortex Cloud for a few months now, and it’s honestly been a game changer for how we manage service ownership and operational maturity across teams. The service catalog gives us a clear, centralized view of our microservices, including who owns what and how each service stacks up against our internal standards.

One thing I really like is the scorecard system — it helps us track things like SLO compliance, runbook links, and security checks in a way that’s visible and actionable without adding process bloat. It’s made some of our security and compliance reporting way easier.

Setup took a bit of effort, especially getting all the integrations in place, but once it’s up and running, it’s low-maintenance and easy to keep updated. We’ve tied it into GitHub, PagerDuty, and some of our CI tools, and the visibility it gives us is solid.

If you’re trying to get more structure around service ownership, or just reduce the back-and-forth between engineering and ops, Cortex is definitely worth looking into.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cortex Cloud offers a lot of value, but getting started can be challenging. The setup process, especially around configuring integrations and defining scorecards, isn’t exactly plug-and-play—it requires a good amount of upfront effort and familiarity with your internal systems.

In terms of flexibility, some areas like scorecard customization or UI tweaks feel a bit limited unless you reach out to their support team. For organizations with unique workflows, this can slow down full adoption.

Also, the pricing structure isn’t very clear upfront, which makes it harder to evaluate the platform without going through a sales cycle.

That said, once it’s properly configured, it becomes a really effective tool for driving service maturity and visibility across teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud has helped us get a much clearer handle on service ownership and operational standards across all our microservices. Before we started using it, it was tough to track who owned what and whether services were meeting basic requirements like SLOs, documentation, or alerting.

Now, we can see everything in one place, and teams have much more accountability. The scorecards make it easy to spot what needs attention, and we’re spending less time chasing down info or doing manual checks. It’s also made it easier to keep teams aligned on best practices and maintain a higher level of consistency across the board.

    Intuitive. Helpful staff

    Reviewed on Apr 28, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Other than the ease of use the helpfulness of staff. Never had an issue staff cannot resolve, when I message their support they are quick to assist and usually have the answers first time round
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much I actually dislike but if I had to pick anything it would probably be the fact that I’d want more features I guess. Nothing in particular as it does the job I require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run this alongside other products and it provides us the ability to monitor our cloud data and ensure this is secure and complices with the compliance policies we have setup.

Powerhouse for cloud security with clean dashboards

    Reviewed on Apr 28, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Though we had hybrid cloud with AWS and on-premise for production, I specifically used Cortex cloud for demo testing environment against few AWS native security tools as well as IAC terraform templates. Unlike other clouds, Cortex cloud simplifies solutions providing a single dashboard to monitor threats. Also, no juggling between consoles and writing custom scripts. Absolutely loved it as its easy to learn and understand. Time saving with post deployment fixes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some DevOps automation tasks need workaround like custom scripts for niche use cases. Felt like some features like cortex XDR need some tuning to understand. All good, other than that. Loved it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Absolute time saver for post deployment fixes. Easy to understand and monitor the threat analysis in a simplified dashboard. Best for compliance checks!
