Easy Diagramming tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to get started, really intuitive, no training needed and it's a helpful way for our team to virtually collaborate and diagram out marketing campaign flows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when there are a dozen or so of us in there at a time, seeing each other cursors is distracting. It looks like flies are all over your screen, but I think there might be a feature to turn this off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual Brainstorming and Diagramming mostly. Getting the campaign flows right for marketing campaigns or processes that have many steps. Making timelines and coordinating projects.

Miro is a very easy and flexible tool for team collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to start using it even without the help tips. It is very flexible as it contains patterns but you can also apply free design as needed.
It has an infinite canvas that allows working in the same theme very extensively and it is easy to locate a part of it, zoom in and zoom out.
People get very easily engaged to its use. No problem when introducing new team members to it.
It has a free cost version that can be used with no time and user limits and is very helpful even though it has restricted functionality.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Mindmap tool is not as easy to use and flexible as others I'm using.
The free version does not allow to access team members only to a single board, so if you allow someone in, they can navigate through the
three boards and make changes. Export to pdf tool is not good in the free version either. However free version is good enough to work with a estable team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It eases team collaboration when working remotely. It simplifies how ideas are shared in the way needed: graphical, schema, adding drawings and images...
I have used it to facilitate team colaboration sessions for software development analysis and design and as a board for Team retrospective meetings.
No matter how many team members are working on the same panel, all can work at the same time, easily and with no learning curve.

Very helpful online collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collaborate online with "whiteboards", text entry, comments, chat, brainstorming, etc.
Very helpful vs. in-person to reduce travel expenses, include others around the world in different time zones, minimize language barrier challenges, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes confusing to know where you are on overall large board as well as how to use product.
Definitely suggest doing a training session prior to 1st use.
Definitely suggest doing a training session prior to 1st use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On-line collaboration (due to COVID, reduced travel expense, travel time availability, etc.) as well as include various time zones
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works really well for on-line collaboration, whiteboarding, brainstorming/design sessions, and documentation of output.
Captures all notes and input on huge board and allows easy zooming to specific sections.
Quick on-boarding process.

Miro is really important for anyone, anything, anywhere :)
What do you like best about the product?
It is a collaboration, sharing, mindmaps, templates, tools for everyone to use everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
It need a memory enhancement because it is only a web-based tool that run on your browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I share ideas, projects, documents, with the team all online, can get real-time collaboration and feedback on any part of it.
Best remote collaboration tool to date
What do you like best about the product?
1) COVID has seen us work in circumstances where we need to ensure stakeholders are actively engaged in a virtual environment. This is easier said than done! however, with the help of real-time tracking and, of course, sticky-notes, Miro helps facilitate that engagement successfully.
I recently used Miro to host a virtual workshop with over 50 stakeholders, which was successful in having everyone participating throughout the whole workshop!
3) The market place feature available to the Miro community hosts a great source of valuable templates, which you can easily personalise for your intended purpose. For example, you needn't spend time creating a heap of content for a workshop when you can import a board from the marketplace- it saved time and effort! I just can't wait till there are more available!

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Sometimes I find it difficult to find other Miro boards within different departments within the business. I believe this may be due to the information architecture levels and navigational experience.
2) It would be great to be able to easily create vector icons or have a vector library, as this would help create higher fidelity wireframes, and also save time creating icons in alternative software solutions then importing them back into Miro for use.

Essential Tool for Remote Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to see where the cursor is for other users and to be able to bring people to a certain part of the board to draw attention to what is being discussed.
I like the ability to integrate with other platforms like Jira, the ability to convert our sticky notes from a planning session quickly into Jira cards is a huge time saving for the team.
Showing the cursors for each of the logged in users is a great help as it gives people the ability to point to what they are talking to.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a downfall of Miro but when everyone is in a room you can ensure you have everyone's full attention where as remotely people can get distracted by other things and miss conversations around what is being added to the Miro board. Maybe a way around this would be to have something that tracks if the window has focus and if the user is interacting with it, if they aren't it could highlight to the other users that you might have lost the persons attention.
We stopped using the desktop application as the web browser version of Miro worked a lot better, it might be worth having Miro be an Electron based application so that it's using the same code base as the browser application.

We use Miro boards to do any meetings that would have traditionally had a whiteboard involved and/or sticky notes to build out a shared understanding, this tool gives us the ability to continue to work as we did in person but remotely with each of us having a voice and our ideas able to be shared with the team.
When COVID-19 happened and we all needed to work from home we had major planning sessions already planned, we would have all been in a big room with glass walls and many sticky notes would have been stuck to those walls as we planned out the next quarter of development effort and worked through the risks and challenges the project is facing. By switching to Miro we actually found these sessions had better outcomes as all the data was captured in the Miro boards and could be revisited when we all left the room, in the physical room someone would have taken photos of the walls and tried to translate that into our digital records but information was always lost in previous workshops done in this format.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is a great tool for collaborating and I think marks the end of the traditional whiteboard, even if people are in the same room using a Miro board over a plain old whiteboard has massive benefits with the information captured and able to be revisited when the meeting is over. If changes are made summary of change emails are sent to participants.
We found Miro improved our collaboration at a time when we were all forced to be apart, it was perfectly timed for introduction into the organisation so that we could continue to be a highly performing team while at the same time isolated.
Miro is easy for all users to us regardless of their skills with a computer, we find the user interface to be intuitive and provides a lot of functionality without being overbearing on the user.

The greatest collaborative experience !
What do you like best about the product?
Interactivity & fluidity of the interface
Evolutitivity with various templates, models and usages.
User experience with teammates and clients

User experience with teammates and clients
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to invite freely my clients to review maps, without interaction but freely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really had a problem with collaborative Design through videoconference systems.
Other softwares weren't likely to reproduce the real experience of a whiteboard.
Miro was the first to give me the same experience in terms of efficience, collaboration, user's implication and quality of the production.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it, with various models ( mindmaps, wireframes, canvas,...) and teammates.
Miro the best
What do you like best about the product?
Links with editing rights. Availability for the whole team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application crashes when there are several diagrams or many pictures on the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Miro, I do my job every day because I store user paths here and coordinate prototypes with designers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start using it ASAP! It saves your time and helps you create products or work while everyone is sitting at home during the pandemic.
Great for collaboration and workshops
What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility Miro offers, it's a great blank canvas for collaboration between teams. You can really make space work for your given use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of security concerns and protecting proprietary information, we can't use the general link sharing capabilities. Therefore, the dislike I have is that it's sometimes hard for team members to get access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Miro to facilitate workshops with our clients. It's a great tool to foster interactivity, especially since we've had to adjust to working remotely. It's also great for facilitating an impromptu brainstorm.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think of Miro as an extension of your office; it's the new whiteboard when you can't be in the room together. We pull up Miro boards when conversations seem to get "swirly" or we're doing a lot of back and forth. It's also great for collecting feedback. We'll just place an image on a Miro board and gather feedback on that image with post-its directly during the call. That way we can align on where their feedback is intended to be place.
Really nice collaboration tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple to use Miro is. I like the several connections with other apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like of how long it takes to load and that sometimes it updates itself and things get a little crazy. Maybe add a notification saying that there is an update available and giving the user the ability to skip this update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With lockdown we used miro as our daily board, white board, retro boards, story telling, etc. Pretty much all the agile ceremonies can be used using Miro.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using Miro :)
