Great product with a great use case

  • March 20, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to submit and review pull request and comment on the go. Flosum is a very easy to use a tool and a must have for all your deployment needs. The best part is you do not need to move to another system for performing deployments. They can be done directly from Salesforce, which means no additional licenses and no training costs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. It is a very well thought product and solves all the problems coming from deployment process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we used to use another tool for deployment that allowed us to integrate multiple Salesforce orgs with version control and carry out deployments. But the reason why we switched to Flosum is that it is based directly within Salesforce, which means I do not have to care about maintaining the other tool within my organisation.

Another feature that Flosum allows us is the ability to pick and deploy only selected changes from within a particular component, which ensures that you do not need to deploy the complete metadata file along with unwanted changes in it. The CI process is also great, and has helped us to streamline our release processes very effectively.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Very easy to install and use
2. Really user friendly because it comes with many components that makes developers life easier
3. Great version control pack with all neccessary features to pull/merge/deploy ect.
4. Since is 100% designed for Salesforce there are no vulnerabilities of data and they are fully secured.
5. Integration with Jira tickets makes it easier to understand the stage where you are as a developer with a certain ticket and basically you have everything under control.
6. Since its Salesforce Native makes it easier to be fully understandable for all Developers or admin that integrate it.
7. Deployment has never been so fast and accurate like with Flosum!
What do you dislike about the product?
Its really hard to find one bad thing about this software. Its a great Natice Force.com pack that it was so badly needed for all Salesforce Developers and Admin. Big Up for that! :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly development tasks and it has helped a lot to see everything that is going on inside Salesforce regarding development.
Also its great to check all conflicts and make sure that everything is great and there is no issues before deployment.
IT comes with so many features that make my life as a developer much easier.

Awesome Version Controlling and Release Management Tool

  • March 19, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It made my deployments easy and faster. I connected multiple salesforces instances and a snapshot after started deployments no need to create multiple sets of changesets. And we can also compare the deployment component with target instance components

Unlike Git-based version control systems, which make keeping these environments in sync very complicated, Flosum makes the process extremely simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. Flosum made deployments easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Flosum for version controlling and deployments.
I have three salesforce instances for different regions. And I have connected all of them with Flosum instances for deployments and Github code backup in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Flosum for Version Controlling and Release Management

Easy to keep updating the Salesforce Org. between Sandboxes and Developers/Admins

  • March 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to install and start using and very intuitive. You spend your time in the important thing and save time doing configurations.
Also all the information is inside Salesforce, so we do not worry for having extra tools (hard to configure).
Information in salesforce is save and we can have our security protocols for extra security. Instead with other developer tools information can be stole easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing until now. I have been using it for few months and it is really a good tool, we used source tree before this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The communication between developers is easier and saves time for delivering the product.
We do nos spend time looking at other repositories which is really good. Developers do not need to have another user name and password for Git and Github for example.

We can avoid error of code from different sandboxes also and system admins can participate in an easiest way in the continuous deployment.

  • March 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Best application for Continous Integration and Delivery. By using Flosum processes and workflows works like a charm and which also helped us improve our Productivity. Flosum provides you with some of the exceptional customer services and they are so helpful that you can ask for it anytime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well with every release, it makes our old functionality vulnerable at times, that's something on which Flosum can work upon
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing time in Deployment Process, Super Rocket workflows for Migrating data
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are deploying in Salesforce, Trust me, Flosum is a great solution for your daily tasks as this tool is tailored for it. Just trust Flosum blindly and then see the magic it can perform. For me, the most important thing was bi-directional.

Real-time synchronization between any branch in Flosum to any other Salesforce org, which ensures code-overwrites will never happen. (Which is unavailable in GIT)

Deployment made easy

  • March 15, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Easy to learn - did not spent much time to learn how to use it
- Native to Salesforce - no additional software required
- Saves a lot of time - no more Excel Configuration files and E-Mails to describe my metadata
- Deployment takes 3x less - no more multiple environments to check your metadata
- Support is great - never waited more than 1 day for a response
What do you dislike about the product?
- It is always difficult to persuade your manager or the person in charge that solution like this is required - i'm trying to make my new team implement such solution, but it is not easy at all. Paying per user/per month is not something that the Management team is looking forward to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- before Flosum we had 3 environment that we deployed the metadata to so all could be tested - this is gone now.
