Enterprise Wowza expirience
What do you like best about the product?
Wowza is a very robust streaming service that I use on a weekly service and I like that is completely reliable and it had never fail me. I like the easy way to use and that integrates with my software that I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like wowza to have closed captions and a chat because it lacks of those features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use wowza video service as my main streaming service to stream all the company meetings and town halls.

What do you like best about the product?
Wowza plays major role in streaming my online channels. so far so good. control pannels are user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever any issue raise. they ask for log. in log we couldnt able figure out the issue. support system is not user friendly.

Streaming Engine quick and easy
What do you like best about the product?
I was firstly introduced to Wowza by a friend who told me they had integrated the Streaming Engine into their platform. This intrigued me and led me to try it out myself. After reading the documentation, which really is just a two minute read, I was able to set the correct settings and it worked first time. Honestly, Wowza came at the right time for us and we are now in the process of integrating their APIs into our platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for the mobile view overflows the screen and the user experience (UX) looks rather old for such a well working product. I suppose this might be the flair - keep the product quick and simple, so the UI should be too?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using their APIs, I can integrate a Live Stream much quicker and easier for the users of my platform to see.
Rock-Solid Streaming Engine for Long-Term Success – 7 Years and Still Going Strong
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Wowza Streaming Engine for over 7 years (currently on version 4.9.0+3), and it’s been the backbone of our live streaming platform. While it was a bit challenging to set up initially especially since I didn’t have a support plan the online forums and documentation were extremely helpful. Once configured, it has worked flawlessly. It supports all devices and operating systems, making it perfect for streaming live cameras on a public website.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wowza Streaming Engine allows me to run my own live streaming server independently without relying on third-party platforms. This gives me full control over our infrastructure and removes the need for recurring licensing fees per camera or stream. As long as the server hardware is powerful enough, I can scale up and stream as many live cameras as I want making it extremely cost effective and flexible for a growing network.

Additionally, the pricing model may not be ideal for smaller organizations or individual creators, as costs can add up quickly depending on bandwidth and streaming hours.

Wowza solves the hard, infrastructure-level headaches of modern video delivery—protocol juggling, scaling, security, and observability—so our team can focus on content and product features that actually move the needle. The result has been faster launches, fewer fires to fight, and a noticeably better viewer experience.

It has been a reliable solution, however, we've encountered some challenges. The user interface can be complex, requiring a steep learning curve. Additionally, we've experienced occasional latency issues and difficulties with certain codec configurations. The documentation, although extensive, sometimes lacks clarity. Despite these drawbacks, the Wowza team has been responsive to our concerns. With some improvements to the UI and documentation, Wowza could further solidify its position as a leading streaming solution."

It is a stable and powerful engine, in addition to having excellent performance.

Well in general the cost, but it is always necessary.

It is easy to implement and easy to administer.

Wowza Streaming integration works very well our production platform (NewTek TriCaster) making it one less thing to worry about during crunch time.
Wowza is a great software for work
What do you like best about the product?
It has the On-prem feature which helped us conveniently to do our day today work. As a news broadcast company our day to today would have been so hard if we couldn't find wowza as our main partner for broadcasting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times on prem login didna't work correctly. But only the user login. Server worked pretty well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Live broadcasting. Since Sri lanka is a very poor country in tech. So we definitely needed a good software for our broadcasting. Wowza solved us that problem. Thanks to wowza we are doing our job properly.
Live Stream with Wowza
What do you like best about the product?
Wowza provides a good streaming platforms to the organization. As a company, we conducting multiple Live stream webinars and introductions to security platforms, this has been a great solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have experience when hosting on-premise, the deployment had some challenges and took lot of our time. Also, we experienced when attaching our banner even with correct file format, it notifies as the file format is incorrect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our webniar sessions, Wowza was a great help. Also, it gives to schedule Advetisment for the sessions and the management of our session took place without missig any details. The quality of the content was really good.
