It fetches irrelevant changes while validation or during merge

Review Artifacts great way to resolve conflicts. It should be prompted while deploying from QA >> Staging >> Production

What do you like best about the product?
We do not need to select all components every time while promoting to a higher environment.
We can reuse the same commit multiple times.

What do you dislike about the product?
In file difference, sometimes if there is single word change, it shows complete file difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduled CI job keep our dev environment sync with higher environment.
My Experience as a Developer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the test Mapping to validate the deployments before merging. It is a very cool feature. When it comes to changes in Components, controllers, and Apex logic, I feel confident, and it is convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to big deployments containing page layouts, flows and process builders, translations, Labels, etc., the whole process is slow, and sometimes it takes half a day or a full day to finish the deployment. Facing merge conflicts is one of the things that I do not like, and I am facing it every now and then. Resolving them manually is so time-consuming and not precise, especially if it is a Label or Translation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I, as a Salesforce Developer, use AutoRABIT to deploy new features and functionalities as well as bug fixes and hot Fixes to our Salesforce Environment. We Have three different environments that we need to deploy to all of them in the correct order, from low to high. I use AutoRABIT frequently, almost every day. It's an efficient tool for our company as we have so many developers and admins deploying via AutoRABIT on a daily basis. There are also some drawbacks to using this tool.

1) Merging multiple commits into a single committ.
2) Scheduling the CI Job to execute.

1) Sometimes, it takes a lot of time to clear the queue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While working with a Big team, it is hard to manage the Code or merging the code. We realised that it makes out task easy to merge the code and handle with large team.
A good tool to manage your deployments and version controlling.

Auto Rabit has really helped our deployments go smoother and overcome the challenges like Code overwriting. We have our system built on salesforce and it really is compatible with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a certain areas where AutoRabit can improve like "permission set" deployments. The version control can become better there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are:
1. Anyone can deploy their changes at any time without disturbing the existing system.
2.Code is backed up in the master brach hence, anytime the changes can be rolled back.
3. We know who has deployed what so that we can easily identify can rollback changes if something breaks because of the latest release.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
For Salesforce users: we recommend the tool if you have a large team and complex implementations done. It will make the DevOps process streamlined . however, the onboarding time can be a bit high for the team if they have never used any such tool.
Good tool for your continuous deployment for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage. Once you set up the whole process, it works fine. There are setting which you need to take care of but that's fine. There are several options to do your task and I like the CI jobs part best. You can configure various CI Jobs and automate them as per your need. I've seen the improvements in the tool itself since the time we adopted it for our organization.
You can create templates as per your need and it helps you in various ways. You can create a release label if you are having multiple commits against one feature request and deploy/merge these commits at once with the help of the release label.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of issues as well in the tool like the way it shows and handles merge conflicts is tough especially when you create a release label. If there are 3 commits in your release label, you will have to resolve the merge conflicts 3 times.
Compared to other tools, it's a little bit tough/difficult to configure because of its vast features. You need to understand all the features then only you will take the best out of it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us to resolve the issue of overriding. With the help of automated CI jobs and integration with version control, the deployment manager only bringing the desired changes to the target org. That's the biggest challenge with our previous deployment tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go according to your requirement. There are various tools in the market. It's not necessarily that every tool fits your requirement. If you would like to utilize the shared credentials like us then probably this is the right tool for you.
