Great Interface, Easy To Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
I like how adaptable it is to existing files that are imported and how easy it is for my team to navigate it
What do you dislike about the product?
Downsides would be some of the tutorials online aren't easy to access. There is always a website issue when trying to access help tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is removing the need for weekly email blasts as all information is updated in real time. The slack integration is very helpful.

Simple, visual, and flexible
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Airtable is how it gives you the structure of a spreadsheet without feeling like a spreadsheet. You can customize everything, view your info in a way that actually makes sense (calendar, kanban, gallery—whatever works), and link related data so you’re not juggling five different tools. It’s basically the love child of a database and a planner.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Airtable is that the learning curve can be a little annoying at first—especially if you’re not super techy. It looks simple, but some of the features (like linked records or formulas) can get a bit confusing until you play around with it. Also, some of the best features are locked behind the paid plan, which is kind of frustrating if you’re trying to keep costs low.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is solving the chaos of trying to run a business out of a million Google Docs, sticky notes, and scattered spreadsheets. It’s helping me centralize everything—client info, content planning, launch timelines, even podcast tracking—into one streamlined hub. The biggest benefit? I actually feel organized. I can see everything at a glance, track progress, and stop wasting time hunting down random notes or re-creating the same systems over and over.
User friendly and can be expanded to fit all needs
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable stands out for its user-friendly design, making it accessible to both tech-savvy users and those without any programming experience. Its clean interface combines the familiarity of a spreadsheet with the power of a database, allowing users to easily sort, filter, and organize data without feeling overwhelmed. With drag-and-drop functionality, color-coded labels, and intuitive collaboration tools, teams can quickly get up and running without a steep learning curve. Whether you're managing a content calendar, tracking inventory, or planning an event, Airtable's simplicity makes it easy to stay organized and focused.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support could be improved. Finding help with API's was difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting data for our campaigns, helps us give personalized reporting dashboards.
Airtable- the best visual database!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to incorporate images has been very useful for our research projects using databases in Airtable. Linking records is intuitive and the interface is very easy to use! I've also enjoyed integrations from Google worksheets as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only improvement I would like to see is a better export format for the gallery version of the database. It would really be nice to customize that so we could easily create printed versions of our database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data organization and integration. Allowing us to combine data from multiple projects into nice overviews.
Airtable Use in Robotics College Course
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Airtable is how it combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the powerful features of a database. It's intuitive to use, visually clean, easy to implement across a class (large groups) and makes it easy to organize and collaborate on projects, especially with customizable views and automation options. When using it often it is easy to load and restart with our VS Code support software.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Airtable is that some of the more advanced features—like automation runs, record limits, and syncing—are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for smaller teams or students. It can also get a bit overwhelming when managing large bases with lots of linked records. Also sometimes it's hard to get a hold of individual users token if we are trying to cross collaborate on the same platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a robotics college course where we were tasked to use iRobot Create 3 Bots to automate pancake making, Airtable helped me break down and organize the pancake-making process by turning each task into a table—like prepping ingredients, mixing, cooking, and plating. I used it to track each stage step-by-step, with checkboxes, timers, and notes for consistency. Automating parts of it, like setting reminders for flipping or cooling time, made the process smoother and more efficient. It turned a simple task into a well-managed workflow!
I love Airtable and it is an essential design and communication platform for my team.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease to use and share and functionality. Great design and is a great communication tool to share with our development partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the drop down choices. I wish I could create visuals in the drop down menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication with people using visuals when we don;t speak the same langiuage. organization and availbility of product via Airtable and we use 3D imaging and video to communicate product.
A great product, with a lot of flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows easily syncing from outside sources. In our case, we use it as a Project Management tool. It augments GitHub issues well, providing some of the more robust reporting capabilities that are lacking in GitHub. I also like the different automations available. The opportunities are endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there was a little more flexibility in the Gantt/Timeline views to help streamline pm more easily. All in all, not much to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps us augment our work tracking system, by automatically integrating and pulling the work in to enable better reporting & visualization capabilities. We found that it was the best tool that was able to easily integrate (without custom development) and also provide robust project management tools to easily visualize work.
Airtable has been very beneficial for streamlining our processes at work
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to get started with simple tasks. You can do a lot of things without needing formulas or script.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a dislike, but I would love more customization options in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps our agency create, refine, and simplify referral processes for different programs that we have for our community. From forms, to automations, Airtable helps us from beginning to end, and it just makes our work so much easier.
Airtable is a great tool- Excel on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
I use weekly to upkeep databases. Easy to understand and use. There are so many functionalities, I am still finding new ones every day. Whenever I wonder "hmm, I wish I could do this or that", lo and behold, Airtable allows me that functionality. I love that you can easily move data to and from Excel, since Excel is widely used across organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much to say. I've had no real bad experiences. I think I can say I dislike the fact that there are SO many functionalities, and I can't possibly learn all of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves the problem of needing a platform more niche than something like Excel. It has functionality and design tools that other platforms don't. It is easy to use and clear, easy to teach people and onboard. It has so many different views that fit the needs of different team members.
Great versatile tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customizability without having to get deep in the weeds to make automation work. We use this for both marketing content/creative production and project management.
It's relatively easy to copy/paste/repeat for all of our projects, and has streamlined how we collaborate on marketing projects.
I do also love that they roll out new features relatively often. The community does a good job of upvoting needed features, and typically you see these happen within a few months.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to show records from multiple tables on the same timeline/gantt. It's something our business needs for PM and production timelines, and currently there is no way to do that, especially in interfaces.
I also find the customization on the record details to be a little bit basic. I wish instead of long record pages, you could segment information on to different tabs so there is less scrolling.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our need for having multiple software to do relatively similar things.
