Airtable as a Core Tool in Our Departmental Daily Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Airtable daily, and it's become an essential tool in my department’s workflow. What stands out most is how flexible it is—especially for someone without a programming background. Whether you're organizing data or managing projects, Airtable makes it easy to get started and customize as your needs grow.
One of the most impressive aspects of the platform is how it consistently evolves. The team behind Airtable is clearly focused on innovation. The recent addition of the AI Assistant adds a new level of productivity. It looks to be a powerful enhancement that will continue to improve the overall experience.
If you're looking for a modern, approachable solution that scales with your needs, I give Airtable a try.

What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable offers a vast range of features and customization options, which is a major strength—but it can also feel overwhelming at times. With so many capabilities available, it can be challenging to find the time to fully explore and master everything the platform offers. A steeper learning curve comes with the flexibility, especially when trying to unlock more advanced functionality. That said, the documentation and community resources do help bridge the gap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps streamline and centralize our workflow, making it easier to keep our team aligned and on task. We use it to manage marketing campaigns and track project progress. It simplifies collaboration, reduces manual updates, and helps us stay organized. Additionally, the ability to customize views and generate reports has been especially valuable when communicating progress and outcomes to executive leadership.

Revolutionized our influencer organization
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has allowed my marketing team to organize our influencer and marketing channels with ease. The filter functionalities are unmatched in terms of specificity and simplicity of use, making it easy to train others to navigate databases in a short amount of time. I use Airtable on a daily basis and could not imaging managing my workflow without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a few additional functionalities including drag and drop column views to compare different data sets side by side. Also, the UI can sometimes feel clunky so it would be nice if there was an option to turn on a simplified UI design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative project management, data storage and organization, actionable forms with slack integrations - Airtable allows our team to operate efficiently and in an organized manner with little room for confusion or misuse.
Awesome for inventory
What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly and easy to train new employees on. Highly customizable to the needs of our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced functions can be difficult to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable puts all our information in one place that is easily accessed by everyone in the organization. The different access levels are helpful so that people only see what is relevant to them. We have thousands of products that are used throughout the office in numerous places, and Airtable helps us organize and make sense of the inventory and create orders. We also use to keep track of equipment repairs and having a automated email generate when a form is created helps everyone stay on top of necessary tasks.
A Reliable, Evolving Platform That Connects Our District
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable’s flexibility and ease of use have allowed our school district to build custom solutions that fit every department—from Business Services and HR to Facilities and Educational Services. It empowers our teams to manage complex workflows without needing technical backgrounds. Over the past five years, we’ve seen Airtable continually grow, adding automation, integrations, and interface improvements that make our work faster and more connected. It has saved us countless hours and helped bridge communication gaps across departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is heavily geared toward the business sector, and the educational market isn’t always front of mind in their pricing structure or feature rollout. While their team has always been willing to work with us, getting in touch with the right person to help solve more complex needs has been inconsistent over the years. We’d love to see more dedicated support and pricing consideration for public sector and educational users, especially those managing large-scale operations with tight budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Business Services, we track contracts, manage budgets, and oversee facility projects. Our Human Resources team uses it for onboarding workflows and credential tracking. Educational Services manages program implementation, assessment data, and compliance reporting through shared bases. Transportation, Nutrition Services, and Maintenance all use custom-built Airtable tools to manage operations, requests, and data logs. Airtable acts as our central platform to connect workstreams, reduce email chains, and keep everyone aligned on priorities. We’ve also built dashboards and automations that notify staff, summarize data, and support decision-making at the leadership level.
Great for workingp on custom prohects
What do you like best about the product?
Pretty easy to setup a custom project especially with using their templates. Integration options are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts might need advanced knowledge of softwares to do customizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help us develop a project management system to put through a custom pipeline.
Great, Multifunctional but with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a great platform for a wide variety of business needs including project management, working with large datasets, and collaborating. I used Airtable to build a couple "mini apps" to coordinate my team's work. My team uses it every day for new project intake, project management, and organizing content and data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to Airtable - while it can do a lot, it took me a few days to build my mini apps. That said, once you get the hang of it you can create more or less any sort of project management tool you could imagine. Airtable also has plenty of resources and Airtable support is very responsive if you run into any roadblocks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team needed a better solution to manage web content creation and update requests for our 7000+ employee organization. Through Airtable we can take in and review requests from across the company, delegate and track tasks, and maintain a database of content and analytics.
Endless Possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable can present my data in multiple ways, allowing me to customize for each audience's preference without having to completely remake or duplicate tables for each different view. I use it every day in multiple different ways - depending on the needs of the project and team - asset tracking, contract management, tasks and timelines, status updates, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The possibilities are almost too numerous! The learning curve is large, which can make it difficult to get new team members up to speed quickly. Would love a simulation-type learning tutorial -- teach and let me do, teach and let me do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it in multiple ways, but one of the most useful to us is contract/program management - new project requests come in via a form and once they are set up, important metrics are captured and stored. We also rely on it heavily for asset management during course creation.
If a Spreadsheet and a Database had a baby ====AIRTABLE!
What do you like best about the product?
I’m a huge fan of Airtable. I started with the free version, but once I saw what it could do, I upgraded to a paid plan. I’ve built countless databases—for accounting with invoice forms, managing leads, tracking ads, and more. I use it daily for automation, forms, interfaces, and app integrations. The templates make it easy to get started, and now with AI, you can build faster or create custom setups from scratch. Airtable is flexible, powerful, and worth every penny.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can honestly say there is nothing I don't like about Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable lets me keep all my leads, bookkeeping, forms, and databases in one place. Its ability to integrate with other no-code tools to build front-end apps is what makes it a total game changer.
Great for automation
What do you like best about the product?
We use airtable to gather and automate inputting data for various parts of our process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were integrations with other softwares that were easier to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as our database of candidates - it’s a great place to store information
Sheets on Steroids-- AirTable makes organizing and tracking so much more effective
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has the functions of many apps (sheets, Excel, Monday, PowerBI), all into one. Functionality is amazing and makes searches, filtering, etc. a bit easier. As a newer company, the program is improving year over year and adding functionality and needs from its customers. There is SO much that you can do within Airtable, especially if you are tech literate.
Even if you are not, this program is a game changer.
Even if you are not, this program is a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, the company and program is newer, so it doesn't have everything you would ever want. For example, there are some formulas that would be nice to add in, like count or averages, on the main sheet. You can do this, but on a different page. I'd love to see this shift in the near future.
However, what I dislike ends up being one of Airtable's strenghts. They are continuing to evolve and improve whereas Excel is pretty much staying as is and Sheets is not evolving nearly at the same rate. AirTable has their eye on being an all-in resource and they are quickly approaching that mark with improvements.

Airtable is helping me organize complex projects, track data across multiple teams, and streamline collaboration without needing to use multiple tools. Before Airtable, we juggled spreadsheets, docs, emails, and random notes. Now everything lives in one place — organized, visual, and easy to update.
The ability to link records, set up views for different audiences (like calendar, kanban, and gallery), and automate repetitive tasks has saved me a ton of time and reduced human error. It’s also been a game-changer for collecting input via forms and instantly turning that into usable, trackable data.
