A luxurious walled garden
What do you like best about the product?
If I’m curious about a topic or have an idea I want to explore, the first place I go is Airtable. I’m not a data scientist—I work in marketing—Airtable strikes the perfect balance of accessibility, flexibility, and power for my role. I’ve used it to spin up everything from proof-of-concept projects to public, production-ready tools in under a week.
Airtable excels at managing structured data, enabling workflow automation, and offering intuitive visualizations—in a way I haven’t encountered with other tools in this space. It empowers non-technical users like me to build powerful solutions without needing a developer.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing interfaces, views, or forms with coworkers who don’t have an Airtable account is frustrating. I understand the business model behind gating these features, but it creates a barrier to entry that many of my colleagues aren’t willing to cross.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable fills a critical gap in developer resources on my team. It allows me to quickly validate ideas before committing time or technical resources. I also use it for internal dashboarding and lightweight data management, which keeps projects moving without bottlenecks.

Airtable pilot for Project management.
What do you like best about the product?
Database mindset: Supports multi-table relationships and one-to-many links, capable of building complex data models.
Varied Views: Kanban, Gallery, Calendar, Graph views to intuitively present data relationships.
Flexibility: Rich field types (e.g., multi-select, linked records, dropdown lists), suitable for unstructured data.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not ideal for complex project management: limited Gantt capabilities (no label customization),
supports only three levels of task hierarchy (Tiers); performance may drop with large datasets

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For multi-table relationships and dynamic dashboards (e.g., CRM, product roadmaps).
Airtable is an essential, couldn't-do-my-job-without-it tool
What do you like best about the product?
The relational database. The ability to create relationships between multiple data sets in either the same table or another table in my base is what makes Airtable the essential tool that it is for my work as a video editor and asset manager. Before Airtable the question "how many videos do you have which mentions x, y, or z" would take me a full business day to answer. With Airtable it can take seconds. I also love Interfaces. I work with many colleagues who are not video professionals and need visual aids to help them understand video analytics, engagement data, the production process. The easy-to-create visuals available through Interfaces and made me a hero in more than one meeting. Speaking of easy, Airtable is incredibly intuitive and easy to use and feature packed. There's never been something I've wanted to do with my data that Airtable couldn't achieve and achieve easily. I should also mention that I use Airtable every day at work to map out production schedules and manage asset libraries.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app. I've been waiting for years for it to become useful and include a thoughtful design, and it hasn't changed since I started using Airtable in 2018. A lot of white, useless space. I'm also not a fan of how Airtable is implementing AI with "AI tokens." They make me afraid to use the AI features in Airtable for fear I'll exhaust my team's tokens, cost us more money, etc. So, I don't use them. I wish AI was just included in plans and not made available via an awkward, convoluted Add On.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is solving the problem of how to keep track of all the videos my team has produced, who collaborated on the videos, who provided voice over for all videos, what production tools were used for each video, and where have we published or hosted each of our videos. Before I started using Airtable this information lived in multiple, messy, impossible to interpret spreadsheets. It would take hours if not an entire day to answer simple questions about our video content—like "how many videos has so and so provided voice over for us? Airtable also solves the problem of how to create a production schedule for our videos which is directly connected into our asset manager. I use a List view and a Calendar view to create a production schedule for video updates and new videos which all lives in the same base as all our assets. I can see what videos are live right alongside which videos are scheduled and in production. Everything. All in one place.
Powerful and Convenient Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it's a Cloud Based Database tool that can be easily shared with custom interfaces is what I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more Excel type functionality. Some things are complex to make work between sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use Excel and having to share a spreadsheet with Alot of data was cumbersome.
Airtable is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Spreadsheet feel, database power – It looks like Excel but functions like a relational database, so non-technical users can build powerful tools without writing code. Drag-and-drop, color-coding, and easy filtering/sorting make it super approachable. Airtable adapts to many use cases: project management, content calendars, CRMs, event planning, inventory tracking—you name it. You can build custom workflows without needing a dev team. Grid, Kanban, Calendar, Gallery, and Gantt views let you see your data the way you want. Different team members can have their own views without affecting the underlying data. Real-time updates, comments, and @mentions make teamwork seamless. Permissions and roles help control who can view or edit what. Connects with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Zapier, Notion, etc. Built-in automation helps trigger actions like sending emails, updating records, or posting to Slack. You can extend functionality with mini-apps (e.g., charts, maps, page designers). You can link tables like you would in a real database, which is powerful for connecting complex data (e.g., linking projects to clients or products to suppliers). Tons of pre-made templates to get started fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile experience isn’t nearly as strong as the desktop version. No native reporting/dashboard features out of the box. You can build charts with apps or export to another tool, but it's not as seamless as users want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizes data in one place with clean, structured views that everyone can access. Better team coordination, less back-and-forth, and clearer communication. Saves time from repetitive tasks and automates busywork, so you can focus on the important stuff. Airtable has clean interfaces with dropdowns, checkboxes, attachments, and linked records—feels more like an app. More intuitive data entry, fewer mistakes, and easier onboarding for new users.
I enjoy the simple manner Airtable allows users to uniquely manage complex and variable systems.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how useful it is for team projects, divvying up work, and assigning tasks. I've also capitalized on the easy connection to Zapier and other third party API's.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not knowing everything possible within Airtable as it applies to my business. I'm still learning how best to connect and capitalize on connected tables and creating useful interface/dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Annual event planning and task management; tracking KPI's; automatically posting social media upon approval.
Airtable is my productivity fortress
What do you like best about the product?
Connecting siloed data, consolidating attributes about my products, customers, and processes into one centralized source of truth. The ability to rapidly improve and customize essential tools without the need of time-consuming contracts with freelancers or developers. The open community and constant focus on innovation. Airtable has become our fortress of transparency and reality for a small marketing team at an incredibly profitable small business. We are able to scale up our marketing operations and collaboration with other teams (engineering, supply chain, executive leadership) in a totally bespoke way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin panel is the most confusing part, especially when an internal advocate of the Airtable tool (with a totally unrelated job title) ends up being in charge of the implementation. I have found it difficult to explain to leadership how to scale up with pricing per person, how we'll transition datasets to the tool, etc. Most of the companies I've worked for have loved the tool because I'm able to show them what it can do for marketing, but then I end up being the go-to person for all the ideas all the other departments have and it's very difficult to manage the admin piece of things as we're trying ot get more and more departments on board. I'm just a "doer" of work a lot of the time and it's difficult to be that strategic leader when I don't understand the admin side of things very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Siloed data, transitioning a small organization from Outlook/Teams to productive dashboards that clearly display reality, a single source of truth for marketing projects, customer profiles, product information, bottlenecks, priorities, etc, the ability to connect disparate systems and make use of our first party data, better collaboration among teams, a tool to reference in internal meetings
I really enjoy Airtable!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes it easy to keep information in one place, update it in real time, collaborate with team members, and organize and track projects in an efficient way. Airtable has many resources for support or to help navigate the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Airtable seems specifically designed to suit certain kinds of businesses (like consulting or wealth management, etc - companies that use it mainly to serve the purpose of keeping track of projects that differ based on clients), it makes it a bit difficult to adapt to a different company workstyle. For us, we are also project tracking, but working in the business of film distribution, so the projects we are tracking are films. I wish Airtable was just a little bit more flexible. That being said, we do still use it and love it - there are just times when I don't feel the platform is geared towards versatility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping to solve the problem of having too much information in too many places -- consolidating it into one database that is collaborative and easy to update. It helps our team be more efficient and organized!

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Airtable is how easy it is to use—it's intuitive, flexible, and doesn't require a steep learning curve. It integrates seamlessly with Jotform, which makes managing our workflows super smooth. I rely on Airtable's automations daily to streamline repetitive tasks, and over time, it has become our “source of truth” for the entire application process. Everything lives there now, and it keeps our team aligned and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that the billing structure can be confusing—I’m not always sure how I’m being charged, especially when it comes to adding or managing team members. It would be helpful to have a more transparent and user-friendly overview of how billing works and what each user or role contributes to the overall cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable to manage our statewide grant application process. It helps us efficiently match applicants with volunteers, and we rely on its automation features to keep everyone informed and up to date throughout each step.
Great product with wonderful services and community!
What do you like best about the product?
In simple terms, Airtable is like Excel on steroids. It can accomplish many tasks you can imagine. The combination of automation with formula or template features is powerful and can greatly enhance project management. Utilizing these features makes project management efficient and minimizes risks.
The customer support and ease of Integration are also beauty in the system. I love Airtable's customer services, they are really friendly and have a lot of knowledge about their softwares.

What do you dislike about the product?
When using the automation feature to create data, errors can occur with synced Airtable bases. This happens because the automation triggers too quickly, only allowing partial data creation (or copy/paste). While conditional logic can provide a workaround, a simpler solution would be ideal.
Additionally, I hope there are advanced courses and training available to learn all the features of Airtable.
