AI ML/LLM as we start delving into the usage of it to make large scale models and AI training and models for data dumps.

Vanta makes compliance seamless and painless
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Vanta is very easy to use for managing compliance such as SOC 2. It comes with hundreds of integrations ready to go, making implementation simple and smooth.
Customer support is also fantastic, always ready to help any questions we had.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Vanta itself is great, some of the integrations are not quite up to the same standard as the rest, most of them are great though.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Vanta to automate our compliance processes, such as when we have new employees, as part of the onboarding process, new hires are required to review and accept various security policy documents. Doing this manually would take a long time, Vanta helps us to automate the whole process end to end, saving time and money.
Vanta Makes Compliance Manageable, But Not Without Minor Friction
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's ability to simplify and break down complex concepts like compliance into manageable steps is what I find most appealing about it. We no longer need to manually update spreadsheets or search for screenshots thanks to the automated evidence collection. The platform's ability to clearly display what is finished, what is pending, and what requires urgent attention is another feature I truly value. The integrated security training and task checklists make it incredibly simple to onboard new hires into compliance workflows. It seems as though Vanta considered the actual problems and designed around them.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don't like about Vanta is that some of the integrations can be a little picky, especially when you're first setting it up. A few services required multiple reconnects, and occasionally the sync status lags or doesn't update right away, which can be confusing. The platform is also excellent for structured frameworks like SOC 2, but if you have unique controls or custom internal processes, it feels a little rigid. It's not always simple to modify the flow to suit your particular setup. Finally, there is room for improvement in the reporting section with regard to exporting customized summaries for leadership updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The chaos of manually tracking compliance and gathering evidence is being resolved by Vanta. Prior to utilizing it, we prepared for audits using spreadsheets, dispersed emails, and screenshots, which was stressful, time-consuming, and prone to errors. By continuously monitoring our systems, gathering audit-ready evidence, and providing us with real-time task updates, Vanta automates a large portion of that work. With automated security training, policy acknowledgments, and employee onboarding, it also keeps our team accountable. In addition to saving us a great deal of time, this has greatly increased our sense of readiness and confidence when interacting with auditors.

I really appreciate the interactive way the content is presented. With engaging elements like Nhama, the learning experience feels more dynamic—you stay focused and absorb the material without feeling like time is dragging. It’s a smart and refreshing approach to compliance training.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta helped us significantly reduce our manual work with their templates and their automation workflows. Additionally, the Vanta platform simplifies audits for us by continuously checking compliance, providing direct communication tools for our auditors, and enabling sharing of evidence without the cumbersome email chains that happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning Curve for their UI/UX: The platform does a lot but often requires knowledge to best utilize it. Specifically, some things that should seem intuitive are often complex and requiring assistance.
Too noisy: The volume of notifications and pings are often too much and there isn't a simple way to fix it. Sometimes there are also false positives in compliance checks, which leads to more notifications.

Vanta is helping us with our security certifications for SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and HIPAA.

What do you like best about the product?
The video had 1.5x speed up option. The login was simple. The email notifications were hitting my inbox and not my spam. The emails notifying me of courses due actually took me to the courses that were due. IT was simple to navigate to exactly what I needed to complete, with progress checked off as I completed it. It was a helpful tool. They nailed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email notifications were out of sync with my manger's deadlines, and the deadlines were wrong on my end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta tracks whether I have been trained on security and HIPAA every year.
It;s a great compliance software
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and convenient to use, sends in an email has a simple environment to read through supporting policies docs and accept accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, it's more of a compliance management software which does the work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy sign off from employees for the policies, along with that easy management of employees who haven't done, that easy follow ups mail to employees automatically.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is user-friendly, even for teams that aren't deeply technical. Even first time users can go through and can navigate the platform easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Vanta offers support, response times can be slow, and some users report that support agents aren’t always as knowledgeable as they should be. For a platform that requires deep technical understanding to set up and use effectively, this is a frustrating issue.

Most compliance tools are built for point-in-time audits. Vanta adds continuous monitoring (e.g., checking AWS configs, password policies, and system vulnerabilities), which helps companies stay compliant and secure over time.

It can connect to many of our systems and automatically scan them to find vulnerabilities.

Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta allows our company to track employee compliance for cybersecurity purposes, as well as holding courses for our staff to take upon hire.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta is not very friendly for integrations. For instance, when we're submitting SOC2 proofs, we have to send a lot of them directly to the certifying body instead of uploading them directly to Vanta. Additionally, the site is not very intuitive, navigation-wise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta keeps track of our employees and prompts them to retake their security and HIPAA training annually, which saves a lot of admin.
