Dropbox is a go-to tool for cloud storage and sharing
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes cloud storage easily accessible for any device, ease of integration into my regular filing system
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't have anything negative to say about Dropbox, maybe only the cost

I can share larger files via dropbox links

A storage service that can fit all needs
What do you like best about the product?
The cross device availability means I can have important documents anywhere I go

There's no particular downside I can think of, though the recent UI redesigns for some platforms arent the best.

Allowing documents to be shared easily between platforms and users

What do you like best about the product?
dropbox make it easy store larger files easily from anywhere. it makes files safe with automatic backups. works so good with computers and phones as well. if something goes wrong you can easily recover your deleted file. syncing is so fast and much reliable. team collaboration is so easy with shared folder features. it's so easy to keep everything organized at one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free storage is very limited. it can get more expensive if you need more features. uploading more larger files can be get more slow sometimes. sync issues happen occasionally. some features are locked behind higher plans. offline access is not always so smooth. editing file directly in app not helpful sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
cloud storage platform with team collaboration at one platform, easy and safe access of data by everyone authorised users. file recovery and backup.
Functional and accessible when needed
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it just works! It’s become industry standard in my industry and I couldn’t be happier

Nothing! It works!! I don’t have any issue with the service. Pricing would be nice for long term users but not a deal breaker

I've been using Dropbox for a while, and it's super convenient. It's easy and sharing files with others is straightforward.

The storage isn’t a very big and overtime I did have to delete some documents

Great storage solution for sharing widely
What do you like best about the product?
I love Dropbox because it allows me to share large files with anyone. Often times it is so hard to send documents or photos via email, and the days of a flash drive are behind us. So Dropbox allows me to provide large documents or files easily! They have increased the ease of use as well as the features available, to include signing documents, requesting documents, deleting and uploading in bulk. I use Dropbox all the time to share documents with my students and staff, and it has always been a great way to share documents with those who may not have the same operating systems on the computer or their phones.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, with all of the upgrades that have come through DropBox there aren't too many features I don't like. I feel like they have really upped their game in terms of sorting, sharing, signing, etc. If anything the cost may be an issue for some, but the features are great.

I use Dropbox all the time to share documents with my students and staff, and it has always been a great way to share documents with those who may not have the same operating systems on the computer or their phones.
Excellent file sharing program!
What do you like best about the product?
I find the program very intuitive and easy to use, and I love the variety of ways you can use and access Dropbox -- I specifically use my Dropbox account to quickly & easily transfer files from my Mac to my PC (something that previously was quite a hassle) -- Dropbox can be accessed online and they have desktop apps, plus apps on both the Apple & Google stores, making transferring files everywhere SO easy! It's also great to be able securely connect with other users to share specific folders/files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't really had a bad experience with Dropbox. Perhaps the only thing was reaching the storage limit, but if it's really a problem, you can always upgrade to the next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The versatility of the program is amazing -- on browsers, and both on mobile & desktop apps. It's a great way to quickly and easily transfer files from my Mac to PC, allowing me to design things in my usual apps on the Mac and use them in some programs that only work on PC (ie. touchscreen applications)
Reliable Cloud Storage with Seamless Syncing
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes file syncing and sharing effortless across devices. I like how it integrates with apps I already use and allows real-time collaboration with others. The interface is clean and intuitive, and file recovery has saved me more than once.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan has very limited storage, and pricing for higher tiers feels steep compared to competitors. Syncing large files can be slow at times, and I wish there were more customization options for folder permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a student working on video editing projects, Dropbox helps me manage large files and stay organized across different devices. I can start editing on my laptop and pick up right where I left off on another computer without transferring anything manually. It also makes it easy to share drafts with classmates or instructors for feedback, and the file recovery feature has saved me more than once when I accidentally deleted a project. Overall, it keeps my workflow smooth and stress-free.
Simply the Best Cloud Storage
What do you like best about the product?
To be honest, Dropbox was the first cloud storage we started using. Not only that, but Dropbox was also the first to hear about such a system. We've been using Dropbox for about 12 years now, and we continue to do so today. File Syncing is one of the things we love about Dropbox the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a service has been used for more than ten years, it is because there are no major problems with it. Some time ago, I faced some problems with Real Time Syncing in Dropbox's Desktop Application. It was resolved in a later update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many documents that need to be processed at the same time for our needs. Since our main job is content writing, we don't know which document will be needed at any given time. The main benefit of Dropbox is that we can store all the materials in one place and give them to the coworker who needs them as needed. Apart from Dropbox's document storage, one of the features we use the most is Dropbox's Paper feature. It is definitely a great alternative to Google Docs.
