A great application design tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Pega is accessible for beginners, as well as tenured veterans of the software development world. It doesn't matter if your background is 10 years of coding, or 3 months of serving coffee, there is an entry point for everyone. I think this has great appeal in the marketplace, as it reduces the fear factor of having an uncontrollable beast requiring software guru's to maintain
What do you dislike about the product?
I do feel that areas of the marketing platform seem to have been rushed, and that whole side of the suite doesn't seem to run as smoothly as the core BPM rules and processes (I've only used until 7.22 so perhaps the improvements are already out there)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Pega to solve large implementation and integration issues
Recommendations to others considering the product:
its the best tool to use for all of your needs. It removes the need for multiple different applications

Pega is awesome, but there are some issues

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing in Pega is OOTB integrations and other things that allow you to make complicated things in a simple way. That is really awesome benefit, you can concentrate on implementing some logic rather than fixing issues with another fancy framework in traditional programming languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just like you can do complicated things in a simple way, simple things often require quite complicated approach. Some UI change which is quite simple in HTML-CSS style could take hours of implementing in a Pega way (and to be honest usually you end up writing custom javascript/html/css/whatever. Also some issues that are not supposed to exist but they do exist - like agent doesn't pick up queue item just because it doesn't and so on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly some financial solutions. Best benefit as I told before is integrations, that's really a thing .

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to integrate with different system and orchestrate how they work. Some great capabilities like decisioning and data pages. I also like new possibilities that Pega Robotics can bring for legacy applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things that are not standard for Pega can be a big pain: you will have to spend days to override OOTB functionality in the way it is required. Especially concerning UI stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process and case mamanegemt, sales automation. The main benefit is how easy it is to make a working prototype to show business what they can expect and get a feedback right away.

What do you like best about the product?
The graphical user interface that presents complex logic in an intuitive way. It allows you to focus on the actual business logic rather then how to code it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The technology will always be a bit behind it terms of UX and UI. How fantastic would it be if it would be a front-runner
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales & Services for business users especially regarding loans and business financing. Benefits are re-usability and integrations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use out of the box features to fulfill your business needs, don't go full custom. Also take a good look at your data-model as I think it is one of the most important aspects within Pega applications.

What do you like best about the product?
With Pega the implementation is made simple and easy. It caters to the needs of the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The license cost is seems to be very expensive when compared to other BPM products

We are using CPM for financial service framework in Daimler Financial Services space. It helps business in handling customer service requests very effectively.

The completeness of the platform which makes it possible to create end to end solutions

What do you like best about the product?
Quick turnaround time of SDLC (from capturing requirements to delivering end products to client) in Pega.
Maintainability and code reusability.
Various frameworks to help clients from various domains
What do you dislike about the product?
the pega academy courses could be made more interactive and technical from the system architect point of view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been working on Pega platform past 8 years on banking and insurance domains helping clients with building solutions that are implemented today but can be enhanced in future.
Working as an CLSA, I am impressed with the regular platform and framework improvements.
Pega implementations are truly built for change and have a rapid turnaround time

Among the best BPM tool in the market with a clear vision for future implementations

What do you like best about the product?
Pega delivers a platform that will help build an end-to-end problem with the help of all stakeholders instead of isolating the different components.

Integrated developments
What do you dislike about the product?
Agile workbench is not thought out enough and in-depth. It limits your flexibility and isn't complete enough eg. using different environments (DEV, QA, PROD) and keeping your old US and features visible.
