Sailpoint: Simple to Understand
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to look at and understand. It's simple and intuitive from a general UI perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes documentation is not updated after new product releases or there are APIs deprecated without any replacement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identity governance to keep track of what access exists in our environment and what accounts have it.
We are replacing bulk provisioning tasks that would have taken 10 times longer as a manual action.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of Use but wide range of ability to customize

Some fiiltering and little things leave you cursing the developers but these are easily overcame.

SailPoint provides all the capabilities to remove all the tasks off the IAM teams plate and allow them to focus on the one off situations while the system handles the majorit

The limitations of customizations preventing the execution of the company's internal processes.

Governance in its entirety of accesses in which we did not have visibility within each system. It allowed us to have a 100% view of all accounts and their accesses.
Sailpoint makes onboarding efficient

The ability to work with on prem and cloud sources to onboard individuals

The documentation is lacking. Takes a lot of effort and money to get things started.

Sailpoint is speeding up the onboarding process. It is helping us build standardizations for roles and detecting changes in our environments that we wouldn't usually have been able to detect.

What do you like best about the product?
Sailpoint’s reach connector support along with dedicated offerings for Saas and On-prim installation provides customers to select there product best suited for their needs.
While my association with SailPoint primarily on IdentityIQ, I have really enjoyed implementing complex business cases with ease of customisation supported by available hooks in with different kinds of rules. IdentityIQ is primarily for complex costumers which there unique needs where costumers needs more control
Of there IAM implementation, however you also get dedicated and professional support through their support portal.
While we have IdentityIq for customers with more complex and larger user bases we do have Saas offerings with matching capabilities where you can have a mature IAM offering as a service with Identity Security Cloud.

What do you dislike about the product?
For IdentityIQ I believe there could be more use cases which can be given importance like non-human user and device management so that it could cater the need for managing use cases to support external identities as well ex: banking domain.

Automating user access review does support solving a lot of auditing and control
Overhead, while automated LCM saves overall turnaround time for new joiners and leavers insuring while we automate, we continue to be compliant.
