What do you like best about the product?
I guess all. The support and the easy of usage. Everything was up to the mark.

The best thing about segments is it help you prospect your data and personalized as the only customer you have

There should be a tutorial to maximize the use of segment and how anyone can get leverage with it

It help me know my customers better and let me connect them with a kind of personal level which increases the customers LTV and retention

What do you like best about the product?
helping in debugging once event tracking is set up. There are integrations with many external apps for setup. UI is easy to use and understand. Collects and integrates a lot of customer data
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with the walkthroughs on setup, there could be difficulty in connecting your app if it is custom. Paid plans are not cheap
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking customer action events, reverse ETL to send data to another application, schema checking with tracking plans
Godsend Tracking Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I love most about Segment is the ability to track what events users are doing on your website. The data that can be tracked and what is output is amazing. It can be a little difficult to ascertain the differences between the different timestamps but the provided documentation clears that confusion up immensely.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an analyst, the thing I dislike about Segment is 0 SSH tunneling offering for Redshift (at least at the tier that my company is on), this has us set up an external rds to recieve that data, which gives another barriar of access to those who need to troubleshoot the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Segment is solving for us is we're able to track at a very granular level what users are doing on our website.

Hard to tell when a data connection is no longer working

Segment helps me gather data from disparate sources and tie things together
Flexible Tool for data connection but difficult UI for debugging

It allows me to connect data from multiple sources to one warehouse
What do you dislike about the product?
When a sync breaks the error messages are very difficult to decifer. You must write into support for technical help rather than ability to peel back more technical connections on own. Support has not been the most useful.

Allowing for segment events in our app.
easy to use and integrate
What do you like best about the product?
useful in integrating across multiple channels for a single source of truth on customer events, was pretty straightforward to set up, and haven't had any downtime issuers
What do you dislike about the product?
since I didn't implement I can't say if it was difficult to set up or continually manage. since it integrates pretty seamlessly across different tools I can't really think of a downside.

customer event and data tracking- through segment we're able to follow user journeys and connect data across tools

It helps in collecting data points to implement new features in current projects inside my organisation
