The licence that include all needed modules in one pack

Policy compliance limited to cis only if the bundle can contain other libraries

One of the best VM tools available in Threat and Vulnerability Management space
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface, it's very user friendly and easy to work with. I like the reports and groups features in Qualys. We use Qualys to scan WINDOWS SERVERS, VMware and Unix servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel Qualys account managers can do a better job. Also, service tickets turnaround time is too high. While the tool is nothing less than best, professional support can get better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have reduced Risk foot print on many clients with continuous authenticated scans. Many clients are happy with the remediation progress we made for them leveraging Qualys scans.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the best vulnerability management tool. It detects the vulnerability is a good way. It's excellent analysis and the reporting way is good. It describes the severity level based on the QID And we can customise the reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The respond from the technical support will be delayed. In some organisations, onprem features will not work properly. After the patch update sometimes the same vulnerability may triggered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our network, we have initiated the scan and based on the report we have found some critical vulnerabilities. The qualys itself provided the solution, based on the solution part we can easily remediate the vulnerability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the best vulnerability management and detection response tool. We can remediate the vulnerability based on the severity on the report by that we can secure the network

Automatic patching us not available for all vulnerabilities.
Mitigations has to be applied manually, some mitigations.
Currently it's observed that it works for Windows OS and the inclusion of other OS such as Linux are on the way.

The main problem includes the patching which has to be done manually and that it works for the Windows sytems only now.
Very Helpful and Time Saving
What do you like best about the product?
The thing i like about the software is that it helps a lot to keep track of the assets in the organization and makes assets management easier from the security perspective. Adding, on top of keeping a close eye on the assets it helps scan for vulnerabilities but im not sure whether the scan is on an OS level only or could do a url blackbox scanning if we add the url as an asset, its like SnipeIT and OpenVas in one tool, very recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing, maybe after using the app more in-depth I might find something to dislike about it, but I'm giving it a 9 since it might not be able to detect vulnerable artifacts during the build process, I would prefer the build to fail if vulnerable artifacts were detected rather than fix the issues after building the image
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier security integrations into DevOps CICD pipelines, I have experienced so far just doing the heavy lifting using scripts to integrate security into the pipelines and deployment process , and deployed multiple tools which makes it harder to manage, Qualys VMDR is a multiple tools in one which is very convenient.

What do you like best about the product?
Qualys VMDR enables organizations to automatically discover every asset in their environment, including unmanaged assets appearing on the network, inventory all hardware and software, and classify and tag critical assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution is a bit expensive if you do not have access to discounts. Sometimes we face a problem with accessing the tool and not getting the expected results. From the technology point of view, they need to look into this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When Qualys patch management is used with the Qualys cloud agent gateway service, you can significantly optimize bandwidth usage by caching patches locally on your network.
