What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use.

We're receiving an overwhelming number of application logs, many of which seem unnecessary or not particularly useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure file transfer and data management.
Problem: having to Transfer sensitive files securely between systems, partners, or clients

What do you like best about the product?
The product works very well, it is easy to install updates. Installation is quite easy. Our company uses this daily and it appears to be able to handle the load. There is a lot of features. Customer support is easy to connect with .
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation does not really show you how to do things it is mostly explaining what things are. I have many issues when setting up projects and the Support stance is more for break fix issues (They want you to purchase Professional Services for new integrations) but I have a hard time with that because the documentation is not good enough for me to create the projects/workflows correctly which makes the integration of some of these features very difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
this is replacing an older version of Globalscape MFT it was chosen for the vast amount of features that allow you to customize your work

An Intuitive & Effective Product

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage and manipulate data with intuitive no-code automation tooling is great and has helped introduce efficiencies to operations that were previously done manually. The supporting documentation is up there with the best I've experienced and there have been very few times where a query has been left unanswered by the user guide. From integrating third-party API requests to accessing internal databases, the user experience is efficient and effective. I use the product weekly and I'm rarely left scratching my head for answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
GoAnywhere MFT helps you make complicated workflows, easy to automate. Unfortunately, it also has a tendency to make the easy things complicated. There have been a number of time where I've had to include multiple automation steps just to achieve something that a single line of Python or JavaScript could achieve.

They also claim to handle files of any size but I've experienced issues when performing operations on very large file sizes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of data transfer.

What do you like best about the product?
We can implement many different types of integrations with MFT and implementation time would be very less.
Customer support is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking for options to integrate with CI CD.

we had 500+ file transfers with various client and various connectivity. GoAnywhere had solution for every scenario.

Awesome transfer and reporting software

What do you like best about the product?
I love the tools that are available and the online forum for real world examples. Once you have done initial design work of resources, the rest of what you need to do becomes much simpler and adaptable to whatever your needs are for reporting and file transfer needs. Customer support is also extremely good. Ease of use is nice for getting started and producing results early. I frequently use it for developing solutions and have been for 15 years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints but I would like to see more examples. One thing is that while it can handle multiple tabs on excel, it cannot handle multiple tabs on excel in a template fashion with fixed formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved all our needs for SFTP transfers to secure vendors. This is very important considering we work with government processes.

Best tool to streamline file transfers

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of GoAnywhere is the how to guidelines that are provided in the site. You have a solution for most file transfer issues! When it comes to automation, it’s very user friendly and straightforward! This tool reduced my need for an overnight team since it took care of processing jobs at odd times.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are time when the alerts will fill up your inbox, if a job fails it will continue to try and send you emails over and over of its failure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of file transfers. The problem that is solving is the need to have 4-5 employees overnight, with this tool, I only need 1 person in call in case something fails.

What do you like best about the product?

not very good support for complex transformation specially with xml file types.

What do you like best about the product?
I found it interesting that GoAnywhere MFT makes secure file transfers so simple. It’s actually quite user friendly, and works really well with our existing software and I can really automate workflows really simply. One great feature is the centralized dashboard, where I can see file transfers and beep alerts to make sure I know what’s going on. We’ve really integrated it with our cloud storage and ERP systems to really optimize our workflow and save a ton of time we used to spend doing manual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
GoAnywhere MFT has many features, but I don’t like how time consuming it is to set up when you’re integrating with other software systems. Although there could perhaps have been clearer documentation in other places the setup was a little trial & error. Moreover, large file transfers sometimes are glitchy, and can bog down the software. It’s had an effect on our workflow when wading through larger volumes because it becomes less efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With GoAnywhere MFT, we’ve moved away from handling file transfers in any shape or form and have turned to safely sending sensitive data. It encrypts everything and solves the problem of unsecured file transfers and also provides compliance with mandatory standards. The manual monitoring that used to take place was eliminated by automation, because this has lowered errors. It saves us time, which means our team can get more done and our files are safe, which makes working with clients a whole lot smoother.

What do you like best about the product?
It does what you need it to do.

GoAnywhere is a system I "inherited" from one of my co-workers, but it is a product that I truly like, even though I did not test and select it.

I like the GUI, it is clean and organized so it is easy to find what you need. I find myself just randomly looking at features to see what else the program can do.

Besides, the basic sending and retreiving of files, I have used their "double" scheduling, customized the error logging, write custom job logs to email, use monitors, and trigger files, renamed files, used conditionals, loops, used pgp encryption and decryption, certificate based logins, read/wrote files, and a lot more that I don't recall right now.

I've had a lot of requests, some of them odd, some of them stupted be for a few days, but I was always able to figure it out. Bottom line is that GoAnywhere just works,
What do you dislike about the product?
Support. Getting information on how to use the product and features is difficult.At one point it looked like they had a nice support forum going, where customers could post questions and support or other customers would answer. That unfortunatley was closed and is in a read only state. There is still a lot of good information there.

In addition, working with support is a hassle. Their ticketing system is not integrated with email, so conversations you have with support personnel is not logged in the system unless you cut and paste it in there. Also it feels like anytime you ask support a question about how to use the product or how the product works, they automatically refer you to professional services for a paid engagement. They need to understand the difference between the customer asking them to write a project versus the customer asking for help to be able to write the project.

We are using it to centralize and control repeating files transfer jobs in and out of our organization. Pulling in he workflow from a users desktop
