it is great tool for data integration!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of the tool and the documentation is great. Product is great and ETL
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a problem with setting up Talend for the first time and downloading the libraries
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating staging tables from various data sources and getting it in line in the production tables. Cleaning and transforming the data in the right format is very easy by using this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
It is better and user friendly than any other etl tools.it is better cost wise .helps for better integration with cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not applicable.i would say I need to explore more to proceed further

I have solved issues which we could not host the database

What do you like best about the product?
This product is young and what I like is the capability to use the unififed Talend Studio to reuse, create, test and deploye integration jobs with parameter and centralised ressources in Talend Cloud data Integration plateform.
You can create elementary jobs for spécific bussiness integration and use them in data integration flow.
Like Tableau, you can use the plateform as selfservice for data user.
All infrastucture for management and execution are externalized (reduced cost).

What do you dislike about the product?
I worked with the first version of the product and it was not enough mature regarding the goal (ETL jobs for Data Warehousing).
The log4j monitoring was very light.
The data securization between private cloud and Talend Cloud was not implemented (I worked with the Talend cloud product team).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the performance of the ETL jobs with Pubsub integration in a historization DWH (modele Data Vault).
But for ETL, we returned of On Promise execution to resolve sécurity of old infrastructure.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use as a selfservice of data transformation, validation and integration.
Good capability for java API developpement and management espacialy for data quality and transformation.
The varity of connectors and the tflexibility is a amazing like other Talend product.
The community is very active with forum and the Talend Exchange plateform.
Cloud computing and messaging with less Big Data and ESB infrastucture.
