Fantastic Vulnerability Scanner
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the simplicity of the readout from the vulnerability scanner
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, the only thing I had an issue with was the pricing model. It is priced lower than most, but I am working in a non profit organization where budget is extremely tight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nessus Keeps Us Safe
What do you like best about the product?
Nessus is easy to use and scans for a large number of vulnerabilities. It helps us to keep one step ahead.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial install of Nessus tends to be a little slow when downloading and compiling plugins. Other than that once the product is up and running everything is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Nessus to perform daily scans. It helps us stay on top of new and existing vulnerabilities as well as identify any patching issues that may have been overlooked.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Buy it and use it daily.

Customizing scan plugins with NASL and being able to scan multiple systems at once
What do you dislike about the product?
The removal of the API from non .io and SecurityCenter versions. While pulling reports is still available, not being able to automate things is a pain.

Vulnerability scanning of assets prior to placing on the network and monthly policy directed scans for compliance

features are easy to view access to set scan parameters

takes a lot of system resources. while running more than one scan in parallel there is a delay in progress. sometimes for a long time

What do you like best about the product?
Its one of the best tool that I have used. The tool helps to find the vulnerability in windows system and helps you find all the loopholes which makes your system weak.It helps making a system more secure by improving on the vulnerabilities and helps keeping the system well patched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once it so happened that while scanning the system , the tool got stuck and it just froze. I was not able to do anything. But it just happened once , so i will not count that , overall its one of the best tool to work with.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the reporting and vulnerability filtering specialitiy according to the worldwide products. For example You can filter the vulnerabilities by type and by exploitability ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not dislike any properties of this product. But if i have to need to say something i dislike. I could say price increasing of this product is very high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily detect any vulnerabilities with huge database support for this vulnerabilities. Penetration testing related work. Network penetration testing with nessus. Compliance check.

The connecting the software to exchange for alert notification.
What do you dislike about the product?
The launch screen could be quick navigation one. Usage statistics divided from external and internal users. Increase usage reports from low use to high use of site from external hits, and actions taken, plus if actions were suspicious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On prem security for web sites that face the public. Alerts for users trying to breach firewalls, or code injection. External usage of our web sites.

The product is maturing and newer versions seem to satisfy customer requests for improvement and usability.

Adding subnets and VLANs
- It will be better if we can change how we add VLANs or IP Ranges. If you have a lot IP ranges, you have to check it one by one if we need to exclude IP or hostname

Not available for low end individuals. Configuration from scratch is a challange
