VPN Protocol done right!
What do you like best about the product?
As an industry leader, wherever I go it seems I can use the OVPN protocol, which is very handy when deploying profiles, as I'm already up to speed with the software and requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much really, sometimes there are permission bugs when installing for End users, but this is usually due to Windows permissions rather than OpenVPN. It's easy to fix with reinstalls and restarts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we prefer not to roll out proprietary software for every VPN provider we use, it's super simple to keep all our profiles in one place. Not much more than that to say about it to be honest.

A great open source VPN
What do you like best about the product?
Since it's open source; you have full control on it. And you're certain that your connection is direct between you and your server. Works great on AWS EC2 instance and available ready in the marketplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since it's between you and your own instances/servers, you'll have to manage and support yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure connection to connect to my VPC as well as connecting via public networks.

OpenVPN works great
What do you like best about the product?
OpenVPN just works. The connection is always strong, great tunneling, easy to manage profiles and all-around ease of use with this product. I highly recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes client/employee profiles expire or stop working for no reason. It is very easy to fix but it still causes a minor annoyance from time to time. Other than that nothing stands out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the issue of company resources that need to be secured being accessed by the right people at the right time. OpenVPN lets us lock certain data behind the VPN and increase security.

Perfect Product
Easy to configure and deploy. Somehow I manage to keep discovering new features despite having used this maybe 5 years now. Documentation and support used to be hit and miss but over the last year or so it's improved massively - wiki/kb expanded and even super quick response for tickets on an account that was free license.
OpenVPN helps for remote workers to access the services outside the Network Coverage Zone.
What do you like best about the product?
This VPN is very much different from other VPN. Very easy to use, simple and efficient design, and we get an ads-free interface. Also, while using other VPN, you will get to see a decrease in speed than the actual speed, But while using this VPN, I didn't get to see much speed difference. I also like the cost being resonable and affordable. We can find the 2-factor authentication embedded here, making it more secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
OpenVPN is a great tool and provides many features, but some features are still missing in the desktop version. We can't make many customizations and changes from the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a new employee and work remotely at this time. Our company handles the data from different nations and collects it on a remote server, and as the data is confidential, we need to use the VPN to access those data. Our company uses OpenVPN for this purpose. Without using OpenVPN, it is impossible to access the data and work remotely.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If any company uses confidential data and works remotely on a highly secure server, then OpenVPN is for you. It is affordable, secure, and highly reliable, so go for it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Signing in every time - HOWEVER, I understand the principle of needing to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure hosting and login to sensitive information for our business

OpenVPN is Super-Duper Flexible
What do you like best about the product?
I like having easy-to-read source code that I can modify at will, and all of it written in standard C, and something that I can tweak and modify as needed. It already comes with a ton of super useful options and features, but topping it off with well written source code is great
What do you dislike about the product?
There's sort of too many options. It's both a strength and a liability. I both like and hate all those options. It makes it pretty difficult to create a comprehensive "config builder" because there's just so many inter-connection pieces and dependencies on the configs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Openvpn is acting as a bridge between networks in different locations, bringing them together in a single extended-LAN type of situation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sincerely try it. Use the pre-fab configs in the example configs that are online, you will probably have success.

Simple and Secure
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, sits in my toolbar, and I click it when I need to connect securely to my workplace network.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more advanced features, such as being connected on two networks at once (via two tunnels), need a bit of effort to get set up and tested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How can I ensure the work I do remotely is secure when transferring data to and from my workplace?

OpenVPN for Secure Connection
What do you like best about the product?
We are using OpenVPN for Secure connection to our remote branches & Applications. It provides advance features such as Two-Factor Authentication that we can integrate with Google Authenticator as well. It also provides Options such as route the traffic via internet as well. It provides certificate authentication that helps us to encrypt & Secure the enviorment. We can also configure & Manage the same with Openvpn admin GUI as well. It provides DNS Options & user management as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue with Openvpn we found when we try to connect or configure the client environment, it doesn't accept the certificate sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenVPN resolved our Secure connection environment issues & helped us to connect with our remote branches securely & also allowed us to encrypt the data over the public network.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a Secure VPN Connection & data encryption as well, then OpenVPN is one of the best solutions.
